Well, our laws in Texas do allow us to shoot people for lesser infractions than pissing off Corvette owners, but this one probably wouldn't pass muster. But they all said (since they knew this was going to be in the paper) that they would step up their enforcement of the law. Well, all said their guys are a little lax, but sometimes use the law to stop and look for other infractions. Well, the watchdog agreed and called every sheriff and police chief in the area and inqured about enforcement. You know, in "this day and age" when we are worried about terrorists and all, the lack of those front plates is some kind of national security risk. Some local submitted his pet peeve of people who don't display their front plates on cars. However, last week, in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a "watchdog" editorial writer asked the public to submit their "pet peeves" and he would check into the ones he thought would be of interst. Texas is a front license plate required state, but the law is widely ignored.
